Drip Irrigation Observer
Drip irrigation is a new method developed within the last 25 years in countries where water resources are limited. Water reaches the plants through vessels having drippers at various distances under soil. Generally, they take place as fixed systems in vegetable and fruit fields and in groves.

Eclipse, sets up the communication devices and sensors to communicate the meteorologic data of gardens, fields and farms to the farmers. The data collected through soil temperature and humidity sensors are evaluated at stations and the farmers are SMSed in case there is an alarm situation, what is more the irrigation engines are switched on in case the temperature and the humidity of the soil is out of the deisred ranges. Thus it is possible to save on water. Furthermore, maximum efficiency is obtained, as the products are watered just as much as they should be and equivalent quantities.

Aggriculture Telematics

Through GPS and GPRS enabled devices, the location of aggriculture vehicles and the products they carry can be transmitted to a central database. Besides the GPS information, other information based on location can also be recorded. For instance the amount of fertilizer in a plot of land can be detected.
