ECL-24T is a communication terminal designed for M2M and Telemetry Applications, capable of monitoring and control of remote devices over cellular networks.

With its integrated Mobile JavaTM Platform, it’s able to fulfill the demands in a broad spectrum of field applications. It enables transparent communication between field devices connected to its serial ports and central server software over GSM/GPRS/EDGE.

It allows easy, secure, fast and reliable application software update with its standard JAVA OTAP functionality. This way, it allows remote maintenance and addition of new features even after project deployment. Its hardware watchdog is an absolute safeguard against any software or hardware related freezing problems.

All management and parametrization actions can be performed either locally through it’s serial ports or over the air using GSM/GPRS/EDGE/SMS communication. It requires authentication and authorization for both parametrization and communication.
